Dr. Sarah Springer is a general pediatrician in Pittsburgh, PA, and the Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on Foster Care, Adoption, & Kinship Care. An adoptive parent herself, Dr. Springer has thirty years of experience providing pediatric care to children who joined their families by every possible means. She also has almost twenty-five years of experience working with the American Academy of Pediatrics to advocate for the needs of children who have joined their families through adoption, foster care, and kinship care. In her spare time, Dr. Springer enjoys biking, gardening, and knitting.
